Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland is located approximately 25km south of the Rotorua city centre. While it’s an easy, straight drive through the picturesque countryside, we can make it easier for couples, families and groups to get to the same place easier and all together.
Wai-O-Tapu is a spectacular showcase of New Zealand’s most colourful and unique geothermal elements sculpted by thousands of years of geothermal activity.
- Shuttle to Wai-o-Tapu Thermal Wonderland departing from the Rotorua i-SITE at 9am

- Return shuttle to Rotorua i-SITE by 1.30pm
- Service operates Fridays through Tuesdays only
This shuttle and entry package is valid for travel and entry only on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.
A minimum of four adults are required for the shuttle service and entry package to commence.
The shuttle leaves from and returns to the i-SITE located at 1167 Fenton Street, Rotorua.
