If you’ve experienced Skyline Rotorua’s Luge and if you love playing in the water, you must try sledging – it’s basically luging down a river, propelled only by the flippers on your feet and the Kaituna’s current. This super-fun, three-hour adventure is based in the Kahikatea Forest along the lake edge of Rotorua. Here you’ll sledge on the Grade 3 Okere section of the Kaituna River, mixing the New Zealand native scenery with eddies and rapids.
