The views over Lake Tarawera from Fantail Loft are breathtaking. Enjoy a great location at the end of the lake and just a short walk to Otumutu Lagoon Bay where the water is generally calm as it's protected from prevailing winds. A romantic break for couples, and getaway for small families and solo adventurers.
The elevated loft consists of an open-plan layout which includes a queen bed, separate lounge area with pull-out sofa bed, a dining area, and small kitchenette with fridge, kettle, cafetière, and small food preparation area. The bathroom with shower is located off the main room, and bi-fold doors open the lounge area up to a sunny, wrap-around deck with dining table, seating and a barbecue.
Rising up behind the property is native bush full of bird song,and to the front are panoramic views of the lake. This is a great place to relax and soak up the atmosphere of this spectacular area.
The garage beneath the loft contains a laundry. Kayaks are available for guest use.
You will have the place to yourself with self-checkin (lockbox), and parking for one car.
Lovely walks, water taxi service to Hot Water Beach, and the Tarawera Falls Walk (from the top end of the lake). Only 20 minutes from Rotorua.
