If you’re keen to get involved, three wild food experiences are open to guests. Join a Wild Food Cooking School where you’ll forage for native ingredients, then gather around the kitchen table and share in a unique and informative cooking and dining experience with Treetops’ chefs. The Māori Food Trail takes you on an expedition to search for native plants and herbs, and learn about their nutritional or medicinal properties and how they’re used in Māori cultural traditions. The Estate to Plate Safari immerses you in the lodge’s core estate-to-plate philosophy.
